Petr Linhart
One of the most significant Czech songwriters, who perhaps could be classified into alternative folk music. Multi-instrumentalist Petr Linhart in his relatively minimalist approach can as nobody else find a song in the atmosphere of the place and moment, through which a history can shine. Beside the solo album Sudéta, he issued six albums with the band Majerovy Brzdové Tabulky (Majer’s Brake Tables), which he is a leader of.
